Sara Forgey

In my position at Financial Advocates as a Marketing Coordinator, I support Amy with social media and submitting content to our compliance department. I am passionate about graphic design, especially in relation to website design. I also love to analyze social media trends and the ways people engage with businesses online. My favorite part of my job is working with advisors to build a brand and website that feels like it truly represents their business.

My Bachelor’s degree is in Fine Art with an emphasis in Drawing, but I always knew I wanted a career in graphic design and marketing instead of working as a fine artist. I’ve never had a preference on which industry I design for, because I find joy in learning about other people’s careers, interests, and unique visions. Now that I work in financial services – a field I knew nothing about before joining Financial Advocates in 2019 – I have the opportunity to work with and support several advisors and administrative assistants who are deeply passionate about finance.

Outside of work, I still enjoy drawing and painting as a hobby. I work with a variety of artistic mediums, but my favorites are India ink and digital painting. I also enjoy reading novels and memoirs, playing video games, and crafting. I've attached a sample of my artwork below!
