I joined Waddell & Reed in 2009. I was attracted to this business because of the proactive approach to managing personal finances.
Growing up, my father owned a small business; I admired his dedication and commitment to his clients, his team and especially his family. I started working for him at around 12 years old. In the beginning, I was in charge of billing and accounts receivables. Later, I managed the phones and client requests. I always wanted to be just like him and to someday run a business of my own that I could be as passionate about. My father created a legacy with his business that he left to my brothers, and in the lasting lessons he taught all of us.
I have been fortunate to have a business that has grown so much over the years and so many incredible clients to credit for that. In 2018, we moved to our current office in San Mateo and had the opportunity to create a space that is unique and comfortable. The team has continued to grow and we collectively are always looking for ways to create a positive experience when you work with us.
We work with individuals and families who are in the accumulation phase, trying to navigate complex employment packages while managing business schedules and raising families. We also work with many who are getting ready to retire or are already retired.
In 2019, Waddell & Reed allowed us to apply our personal brand to reinforce who we are as a financial planning practice.
Our objective has always been to help you reach your financial planning goals and create a meaningful legacy. The term maven was derived from the Yiddish word mayven and defined as “one who understands”. We chose Maven Lane Financial Group because we believe this name uniquely reflects how we work with our clients. Our primary mission is to understand you, your unique goals and ambitions. We understand the financial path necessary to help you design your best life and legacy and guide you along the way.
Thank you for your loyalty and trusting us as your financial advisory team.
