Ben Mossman

My path into financial services was anything but traditional. I began my career in architecture after earning a degree in Environmental Design, drawn to work that balanced structure, creativity, and thoughtful design. That perspective shifted after watching my parents work with a financial advisor, an experience that opened my eyes to the powerful impact intentional financial guidance can have on individuals and families. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to do work that helped others make decisions with clarity and confidence.

I entered the financial services industry in 2010 and have spent my career supporting the planning process through a combination of strategic, operational, and consultative work. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with advisors and planning teams, which reinforced my belief that there is no single path to financial independence, only well-aligned strategies rooted in each client’s values and objectives.

At Maven Lane, my work focuses on supporting the firm’s planning and operational needs, helping create the structure that allows thoughtful, client-centered work to happen consistently, both behind the scenes and, when appropriate, directly with clients.

Outside of work, I’m a proud father of three and enjoy spending time with my wife, Kris. In my spare time, you’ll usually find me drumming, writing music, cooking, or appreciating a great whisky.
